Supporters that helped us get where we are

The Rediscover Fashion team has been working with Picker Pals to create their Picker Pack bags for schools. The Rediscover Fashion team made the Picker Pack bags from discarded boat sails. The sails are an ideal material to use for this project as it is strong and durable. Reusing the sails and making them into the bags has prevented the material from being sent to landfill.

Government Department Supporters

Our supporters’ own words speak most powerfully of their reasons for enabling Picker Pals to reach their goals…

“We are delighted to have partnered with Picker Pals through our national sponsorship and branded all-electric BMW iX3. The partnership provides us with a platform to showcase our commitment to sustainability and also showcase our electric cars to communities. The events, team pick-ups and out and about adventures with the Picker Pals team have been enjoyable, educational and great fun.”
Laura Condron,
Communications and Strategy Manager BMW
“Our experience with Picker Pals has been fantastic. Our litter pick in Swords was a huge success with our team and being joined by a local school hit home the importance of the work Picker Pals are doing. Seeing the children so engaged and excited to collect the rubbish and improve the environment was really heartening and had a lasting effect on us.”
Daniel Blanchfield,
Sustainability Officer
“Picker Pals really fits our Sky Zero brand. Our staff have enjoyed coming together with other teams at the Lunch and Learn sessions and fun local area clean-ups near our office. It means a lot to everyone at Sky to know that they have an impact in helping the amazing growth of the school programme.”
