Our friend, supporter on beach cleans and trans-Atlantic and round-Ireland sailor, Zander Mackay brought the idea of sponsoring Picker Pals to his workplace, eBay. It turned out there was a suitable fund available and Picker Pals was chosen as eBay’s Charity of the Month in June 2020. This allowed us to reach out to more schools.

To celebrate the collaboration, Patrick and Angela delivered an anti-litter webinar attended by a number of eBay staff. We love to get the world and the message out in this way and feel it allows Picker Pals to maximise impact. We believe every conversation, every person and every moment we spend educating people about what the problem is and what we are doing about it moves our project forward.
